Position: Medical Writer

Company: May 3rd Films

We are seeking an experienced and talented Medical Writer to join our growing team at May 3rd Films. As a Medical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and writing engaging and accurate medical content for a variety of projects and mediums.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and interpret complex and technical medical information to create engaging and easy-to-understand content for various audiences
Write and edit scripts for educational videos, documentaries, and other multimedia projects
Develop written materials such as white papers, articles, and blog posts on various medical topics
Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure accuracy and consistency in all medical content
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical trends and advancements to provide accurate and timely information
Conduct interviews with medical professionals and patients to gather information and insights for projects
Ensure all content meets regulatory and compliance standards and guidelines

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as medicine, healthcare, or journalism
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Writer or similar role
Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to translate complex medical information to a general audience
Excellent research and interviewing skills
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Experience with video production and editing is a plus
