Manager of Pharmacy

In conjunction with Director, responsible for the operational management and strategic planning of the Pharmacy Department. Has 24/7 accountability and responsibility for assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) preferred
5 years of professional experience that demonstrates a progressive leadership background
Master's Degree preferred

Skills

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
Software skills using MS office, proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel, some knowledge of MS Access
Pyxis experience with knowledge of Pyxis Reports (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)
Some travel may be required
Ability to evaluate publications, studies, clinical research and clinical data collection and apply it to day-to-day clinical programs for the facility
