The Capitol Forum is seeking a senior reporter with a proven ability to break news regarding antitrust policy and issues. The position will require the reporter to write clear, in-depth, accurate stories on antitrust matters. We’re looking for an aggressive journalist who can get market-moving scoops that shed light on government processes and place the news in context with penetrating analysis.

- Ability to build a source network
- Persistence and determination in getting to the core of a story or scoop
- Ability to interpret and analyze data
- Prepare, review, edit, and finalize written reports concerning content and style with the most objective perspective on the impact of antitrust policies, specific regulation, or regulatory action
Knowledge or background in competition law isn’t required, but you must be interested in learning what antitrust is and why it’s so important in today’s world.
- At least four years of journalism experience, preferably covering the White House or Capitol Hill
- Ability to write clearly and quickly
- Passion to break news on antitrust issues
- Interest in the intersection of healthcare, business, government, politics and the law
Salary range $110,000-$150,000, depending on experience.
