Full Job Description

Solid Ground Psychotherapy is a private pay psychotherapy practice based in Arlington, Virginia. After 3 years of deliberate growth, we are looking to add a 5th clinician to our team as we attempt to keep up with our referral stream.

Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time therapist to carry a caseload of between 5-15 clients per week. This is a W2 position, and it may have the opportunity to transition to full time.

This role is ideal for clinicians who want the autonomy and depth of private practice without the administrative and business burden of running one.

This position requires evening appointments (5 PM - 8 PM) 2 days of the week. You can choose which days you'd like to offer (as well as any other availability).

Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with couples.

Many clinicians want the independence of private practice without having to manage the business aspects of it. This role is designed to offer that balance.

Compensation

$120 per session for fully licensed clinicians
$90 per session for provisionally licensed clinicians
Paid per completed session
Consistent referral flow
Opportunity to increase caseload over time
Additional benefits will be added as the practice continues to grow

Requirements

Provisionally or fully licensed in Virginia
Ability to maintain a minimum caseload of 5 clients per week
Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and reliability
Interest in working in a private pay practice model
