Pacific Northwest Fertility & IVF Specialists, a state-of-the-art clinic offering a wide variety of treatments ranging from basic care to the most advanced fertility technologies, is looking for a full-time experienced Senior Embryologist at our Bellevue location. The Senior Embryologist is responsible for performing all IVF laboratory procedures to produce consistent pregnancy rates and deliver exceptional patient care. You will be part of a dedicated team working under a Laboratory Director to provide exceptional clinical outcomes. Please note the position is full-time, would include some weekends and some holidays.
General Duties:
- Maintaining daily laboratory quality control.
- Oocyte retrievals; Identify, assess, and culture of oocytes.
- Embryo culture and assessments.
- Embryo transfers.
- Embryo and oocyte vitrification, storage, and warming.
- Micromanipulation techniques including ICSI and biopsy.
- Dish and media preparation.
- Andrology.
- Document patient care services in an EMR
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science degree in biological science.
- Previous embryology experience (2-4+ years) in an IVF laboratory.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills required
