Location: BELLINGHAM | 1208 IOWA ST

Compensation: STARTING AT $21.00 per hour – based on experience

We specialize in hard-to-source interior and exterior home finishing products including flooring, doors, mouldings, and specialty wood products. SUMMARY OF POSITION

Windsor Plywood in Bellingham is looking to add to its retail counter sales team. This is a Tuesday through Saturday full time position. We are closed nights and Sundays. We offer one of the area's largest selection of finishing products to contractors and homeowners and do-it-yourselfers including hardwood lumber, various plywoods, doors, moldings, tools and hardware while striving to offer the best customer service in the industry.

The ideal candidate should have basic woodworking or carpentry experience or prior work experience in the building materials industry. This is a counter based retail position with numerous duties including answering phones, cashiering, helping customers select and find the right materials for their projects as well as cutting materials and loading their orders. Other duties vary daily, but will also include ordering materials, stocking shelves, cycle counting, cleaning, and more. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work while standing most of the 8-hour shift. Our staff members enjoy 2 weeks PTO after the first year, medical plan and employee discounts.
