Job Title: Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinic (Cardiology)

Location: Seattle, WA, 98122

Job Start: 09/21/2026

Job Type: 32-week contract with the possibility of extensions

Shift Timing: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM (Mon to Fri)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week; 8 hrs/day, and 5 days in a week (5x8s)

Unit: Cardiology
Pay Range: $61/hr. - $73/hr.

Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Cardiology Clinic caring for patients preparing for or recovering from cardiac catheterization, PCI/stent placement, EP procedures, structural heart procedures, cardioversions, and vascular/interventional studies. The role includes assessing medically complex patients, monitoring symptoms, anticoagulation status, medication changes, and post-procedure recovery; triaging patient calls/messages per clinic protocols and provider direction; reinforcing provider-ordered medication instructions; assessing symptoms and determining appropriate escalation; and urgently escalating concerns such as chest pain, new/worsening shortness of breath, syncope/near-syncope, stroke-like symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, unstable vital signs, or vascular access complications. This is an ambulatory clinic role and does not include procedural sedation or Cath Lab intra-procedure nursing unless specifically trained and credentialed.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an outpatient cardiology clinic and triage setting is required.
Provide nursing care to cardiology patients in an ambulatory clinic setting.
Assess patients preparing for or recovering from cardiac procedures.
Monitor symptoms, anticoagulation status, medication changes, and post-procedure recovery.
Triage patient calls and messages using clinic protocols and provider direction.
Reinforce provider-ordered medication instructions.
Assess symptoms and determine appropriate escalation.
Escalate urgent concerns, including chest pain, worsening shortness of breath, syncope/near-syncope, stroke-like symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, unstable vital signs, and vascular access complications.
