Full Job Description

Blue Note 45 is a growing wholesale company based within Sumner, WA. Here at Blue Note we specialize in general and Asian-based produce and other food based wholesale and can promise excellent service and care with our products.

We are based at a warehouse in Sumner, WA and are looking to bring in new office staff and/or sales associates for our products. This is a full-time on-site role with room for upward growth within this company and through the industry. You will also be working together with our warehouse team, but you will not be required to have any warehouse skills as your focus will be within the office.

!! Note that there will be a probationary period that we will discuss and confirm with you at the time of interview if we agree to proceed with employment. Until this probationary period is over, we will not be paying the full starting $25/hr, but will instead negotiate a similar payout for the duration of the probationary period. !!

!! This job offers 1 Year OTP, H1 Sponsorship, and Green Card Sponsorship for those who are eligible !!

- To be a potential candidate, you must be fluent in both English and Cantonese. Vietnamese would be ideal as well, but is not required. You do not need to be a native speaker for any of these languages, but you must have the ability to read, write and speak both English and Cantonese in an accurate and professional manner. This is due to a large number of our customer base using the language within our business.

- Ideal candidates will have previous experience within the food industry and will have experience working with multicultural communities.

Job Location:

- Office location within our warehouse in Sumner, Washington

Job Description:

- Order processing and assisting Chinese/Korean customers
- Communicating accurate product information
- Order entry: creating and keeping track of invoices and transactions
- (sales) Push sales for the company to new markets and customers

Job Hours:
- Mon-Fri, no weekends
- Hours are 8am-4:30pm (30 minute lunch break allotted)
- Daily additional overtime offered

Job Benefits:

- 1 Year OPT (must be eligible)

- H1 Sponsorship (must be eligible)
- Consistent scheduling and pay

Job Requirements:

- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Fluent in both Cantonese and English
- To be able to multitask and do other duties assigned
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate PC and rudimentary knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Job Preferences:

- Korean language experience
- Excel knowledge/experience
- QuickBooks knowledge/experience
- Invoice Applications knowledge/experience
- 1 year applicable experience in the food industry
- 1 year bookkeeping experience

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
