REPORTS TO: CEO

SUPERVISES: AFB Sales Team

PAY RANGE: $150K - $175K base plus performance incentive. Performance-based incentives aligned to revenue growth, margin performance, and strategic milestones. Long-term growth opportunity aligned with progression into senior revenue leadership.

Basic Function:

AFB Floors is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our revenue across three core business verticals- multifamily flooring replacement, renovation, and new construction- while supporting continued geographic and channel expansion.

This role will build upon a strong foundation in multifamily flooring while accelerating growth and structure across additional service lines. The VP of Sales will accelerate revenue growth, strengthen go-to-market strategy, and enhance the consistency and predictability of our sales organization. They will partner closely with executive leadership to expand market share, deepen key client relationships, and build a disciplined, data-driven sales function.

Core Competencies:

Strong preference for experience selling B2B in the multifamily property management and development industry.
Proven experience driving revenue growth in a $10M–$100M B2B services, construction, or building products environment.
Experience managing or scaling multiple revenue streams (recurring, project-based, and/or bid-driven).
Strong background in sales process design, CRM implementation, and pipeline management.
Experience in multi-location or regional service organizations.
Demonstrated financial acumen, including margin awareness and pricing discipline.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth & Segment Expansion

Driving revenue growth across current multifamily business verticals including the replacement, renovation, and new construction channels.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to each segment and customer type.
Increase pipeline depth and consistency across all verticals, creating meaningful growth acceleration in renovation and new construction.

Sales Systems & Infrastructure

Enhance and scale the company’s sales operating systems, including:

CRM (HubSpot) optimization and structure
Pipeline management standards
Forecasting processes and reporting cadence
Strengthen data visibility and forecast accuracy to support informed decision-making.
Establish clear performance metrics and accountability across the sales organization.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

Lead and develop the existing sales organization
Enterprise & Key Account Strategy
Strengthen engagement with key clients.
Partner with internal stakeholders to align account strategy across markets and service lines.
Increase penetration and long-term account retention within key client portfolios.

Expansion Strategy

Lead sales strategy for new geographic markets, including:

Target account identification
Pipeline development
Coordination with branch leadership on execution
Provide input into market entry planning based on revenue opportunities and client demand.

Pricing & Deal Strategy

Collaborate with executive leadership to align pricing strategy with market positioning and value delivery.
Ensure disciplined pricing practices that support long-term client relationships and margin integrity.
Develop innovative, disciplined, and leading service level programs that further enhance value to clients.

New Vertical Growth

Identify and evaluate opportunities for new products, services, and customer segments.
Assess new verticals based on strategic fit, margin potential, and operational readiness.
Support thoughtful expansion into adjacent opportunities while maintaining focus on core business growth.

Success Metrics

Performance will be evaluated based on:

Revenue growth across all multifamily business segments (primary metric)
Pipeline expansion and consistency
Growth in key and multi-market client relationships
Forecast accuracy and sales visibility
Adoption and effectiveness of sales systems and processes
Progress toward scaling multifamily renovation and construction business units
Ensure disciplined pricing practices that support long-term client relationships and margin integrity.
Develop innovative, disciplined, and leading service level programs that further enhance value to clients.

Growth Opportunity

This role is designed to expand into a senior executive leadership position overseeing revenue strategy as AFB Floors continues to grow its geographic footprint and service offerings.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently.
The employee is required to use hands and fingers for tasks and occasionally stand, walk, stoop and reach.
Noise levels may vary from moderate to noisy.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects as part of the duties.
