Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and food service personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency with quality standards and menu specifications
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize costs
Plan menus that reflect culinary trends while accommodating dietary restrictions and guest preferences
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution
Supervise shift management activities, including scheduling staff shifts, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing training and mentorship
Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to uphold operational efficiency and safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, restaurant management, or culinary leadership roles with a focus on fine dining or hospitality environments
Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success in team management and leadership within the food industry
Extensive knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, inventory management, and catering operations
Experience with menu planning, food service management, and kitchen operations including shift management
Familiarity with banquet experience and dietary department procedures is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and collaborate effectively across departments
Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred; hands-on cooking skills are essential
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
