Early Childhood Education Center Director

Lead a Thriving Early Learning Program

We're seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education leader to oversee daily operations of a well-established preschool program serving young learners and their families. This is an opportunity for a passionate educational leader to drive enrollment growth, develop high-performing teams, ensure regulatory excellence, and foster an exceptional learning environment.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership experience within a licensed early childhood education setting
3+ years of classroom teaching experience in an early learning environment
Proven success managing multi-classroom programs and teams
Strong understanding of state licensing requirements and regulatory compliance
Experience with enrollment management, family engagement, and staff development
Knowledge of curriculum implementation and educational quality assurance
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and relevant leadership experience will be considered
Valid driver's license and ability to meet organizational driving standards

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Educational Quality

Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of preschool operations
Support implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and instructional practices
Ensure compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
Foster a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children, families, and staff
Monitor educational outcomes and support continuous program improvement

Team Development

Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain high-quality early childhood professionals
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
Conduct performance evaluations and support career development planning
Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet operational and licensing requirements

Business & Operational Management

Oversee enrollment growth initiatives and family retention efforts
Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational efficiency
Analyze key performance indicators and develop action plans for improvement
Build positive relationships with families, community partners, and vendors
Represent the organization at community outreach and marketing events
