Full Job Description

Member Service Representative

Role:

To facilitate new member growth and relationship development through opening accounts, loan acquisition, and sales of all related products and services. Assist new and existing members by providing solutions and resolving problems related to all deposit accounts, loans, and electronic services. Bilingual (Spanish) is required. PREVIOUS BANKING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. Branches located in New Britain and Meriden.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Develop strong member relationships through needs assessment. Recommend and open deposit accounts, loans and set up all electronic services.

Identify cross-sell opportunities for existing members; open related products, assist member with loan application, or set up electronic services.

Execute Achieve strategy by providing exceptional service during every member engagement. Ensure that all service standards are met for every interaction.

Own the member experience. Answer member questions, gather information and provide solutions to problems. Work with other departments to resolve member issues.

Support the Achieve business model through embracing technology and assist members while providing education and assistance using ITMs and other solutions.
Perform all other duties as assigned. Duties and responsibilities subject to change at discretion of management.

Knowledge & Skills:

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience

Education: A high school diploma or GED

Interpersonal A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and

Skills: tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others.

Other Skills: Must have strong communication skills, attention to detail and be comfortable with use of and demonstrating technology. Good PC skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
