Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cultivation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and health of our crops through precise cultivation practices, ensuring optimal plant development. Your expertise in horticultural techniques, irrigation management, and environmental controls will be essential to maintaining high-quality crop production in our state licensed recreational indoor grow facility. Duties
- Assist with planting, transplanting, pruning, and trimming plants to promote healthy growth and maximize yield
- Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules aligned with crop needs
- Implement integrated pest management strategies to prevent and control plant pests and diseases
- Maintain greenhouse and outdoor cultivation areas by performing garden trimming, land clearing, and landscape upkeep
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for crop handling, pest control, and environmental adjustments
- Manage irrigation systems, ensuring proper functioning and troubleshooting issues promptly
- Record detailed data on crop progress, environmental conditions, and pest management activities to support ongoing improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience in horticulture, greenhouse cultivation, or outdoor farming environments
- Knowledge of irrigation management and agricultural environmental control systems
- Familiarity with crop production techniques and plant identification skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of integrated pest management, plant pest control, and lawn care practices
- Basic math skills for measuring inputs and adjusting environmental parameters accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills for managing horticultural teams effectively and efficiently
