Creative Arts & Communications Coordinator

Position Summary
The Creative Arts & Communications Coordinator exists to help people connect with the mission of Cornerstone Church through clear, creative, and Christ centered communication. This position supports the planning, design, and implementation of church wide communications while assisting pastors, ministry leaders, and the Creative Arts & Communications Director in effectively sharing the vision of Cornerstone Church, promoting ministry opportunities, and celebrating what God is doing within the church. Through creative execution, visual storytelling, and consistent branding, this role helps create welcoming pathways that encourage people to engage, grow, and take their next step in their faith journey.
Core Responsibilities
Creative Communications & Brand Leadership
● Assist in the planning, design, and execution of creative communications that support the mission and vision of Cornerstone Church.
● Execute creative projects as directed by the Creative Arts & Communications Director.
● Create sermon series branding, graphics, and promotional materials for church wide ministries and events.
● Design worship slides, announcement graphics, brochures, flyers, signage, newsletters, printed materials, and other communication pieces as assigned.
● Maintain consistent branding across all church ministries and communication platforms.
● Create engaging social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and other digital platforms.
● Update and maintain the church website, mobile app, and digital communication channels.
● Coordinate photography and video content in collaboration with the Creative Arts & Communications Director.
● Prepare presentation media and visual elements that enhance the worship experience.
● Assist with stage and seasonal design for worship services and special events.
● Work under the direction and leadership of the Creative Arts & Communications Director, supporting the overall vision and communication strategy of Cornerstone Church.
● Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Creative Arts & Communications Director.
Communications Strategy
● Assist in implementing communication strategies that effectively inform, inspire, and engage the church body and community.
● Collaborate with pastors, staff, and ministry leaders to communicate ministry opportunities and church initiatives.
● Manage communication calendars and prioritize creative requests to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
● Support the church's visual identity, messaging, and communication standards across all platforms.
Ministry Partnership & Collaboration
● Serve as a creative resource for church ministries by assisting ministry leaders with communication needs and promotional materials while working under the direction of the Creative Arts & Communications Director.
● Collaborate with the Pastoral and Worship teams to ensure visual communication aligns with the message, worship experience, and ministry goals.
● Support church wide initiatives through creative planning, project management, and timely execution.
Volunteer Leadership
● Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and encouraging volunteers serving in photography, videography, graphic design, production, social media, and related creative ministries.
● Equip volunteers with resources and guidance to serve with excellence.
● Foster a healthy, Christ centered team culture where volunteers feel encouraged, valued, and supported.
Work Schedule
● This position requires flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend ministry activities.
● Some remote work may be permitted with approval from the Creative Arts & Communications Director.
● Additional hours may be required during seasonal events and major church initiatives.
Seasonal & Special Projects
● In addition to regular responsibilities, this position will provide creative communication support during seasonal ministry initiatives, church wide events, special services, and other high impact ministry opportunities. These seasons may require additional planning, creative production, and flexibility to meet the communication needs of the church.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
