Full Job Description

Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Rehab Specialist/Chiropractic Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing overall well-being. This energetic position involves assisting with rehabilitation and physiotherapy procedures, ensuring patients receive compassionate care, and maintaining a smooth clinical environment. You will work closely with chiropractors, chiropractic assistance and admin team to deliver exceptional patient service and promote optimal health outcomes. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting dedicated to improving lives through expert rehabilitation care.

Duties

Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
Support physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions by preparing equipment, guiding patients through hands-on exercise protocols, and monitoring progress.
Perform manual handling tasks using proper soft tissue techniques.
Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities while respecting confidentiality protocols.
Educate patients on post-acute care routines, physiotherapy exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
Support chiropractors and team members during treatment sessions by setting up treatment areas and managing supplies.
Ensure the clinic environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Play a role in various marketing functions including online and social media creation and management

Requirements

Prior experience rehabilitation environment is preferred but not necessary. Either way, we will teach you!
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Proven ability in patient service, customer communication, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during patient transfers or equipment setup.
Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
