Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our amazing culinary team. In this role, you will be an important team member in delivering exceptional customer experiences, preparing our menu items, supervising kitchen operations, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Your leadership will ensure smooth kitchen workflow, foster teamwork, and uphold our commitment to excellence in every meal served. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your expertise in a fast-paced, family dining environment while contributing to a welcoming and energetic hospitality atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient food production and service.
Uphold food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all team members.
Oversee dietary department requirements when applicable, ensuring special dietary needs are met with care and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a timely and professional manner

Skills

Proven supervising experience managing kitchen teams effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and sanitation regulations..
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations confidently.
Willing to train the right candidate.

Expected to work Tues-Saturday. 4-8 hours a work day. Possibly more depending on the time of year.
