Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you’ll be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, executing recipes with precision, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, all while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values teamwork and innovation.

Must be available to work Wednesday through Sunday, 7am-3pm

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to uphold food safety standards
Assist with food prep tasks such as slicing, dicing, portioning, and plating
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene throughout all stages of meal preparation
Support the kitchen team by communicating effectively with chefs and fellow staff to coordinate meal production
Adhere strictly to recipe guidelines, portion control, and presentation standards for consistency
Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of menu items in a timely manner

Requirements

Weekend availability a must, including Sunday 8am-3pm
Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly preferred
Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods
Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and servers
Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry best practices is a plus
Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively
A proactive attitude towards cleaning duties to ensure a sanitary workspace at all times
