Position Summary:
The Lease Operator/Pumper is a pivotal role within the oil and gas industry, serving as the primary operator responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of oil and gas wells and associated equipment. This role is instrumental in maintaining continuous hydrocarbon production while adhering to rigorous standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Measure and record production volumes of oil, water, and gas accurately.
? Identify and report any variances in production volumes promptly.
? Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and optimal condition.
? Record meter readings, pressures, and production volumes meticulously for comprehensive reports.
? Communicate any concerns, potential issues, or problems requiring additional assistance to the supervisor promptly.
? Perform minor maintenance tasks and uphold housekeeping standards to ensure a well-maintained facility.
? Execute all operations in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
? Respond promptly and effectively to any emergency situations or call-outs as required.
? Maintain and adhere to treatment schedules, well test schedules, and preventative maintenance plans diligently.
? Ensure meticulous maintenance of all records required by regulatory bodies.
? Conduct equipment repairs as necessary, demonstrating proficiency in troubleshooting techniques.
? Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility to uphold operational standards.
? Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned with the accumulation of experience and expertise.
Requirements:
Basic:
- A minimum of 1 year of oilfield industry-specific experience.
- Knowledge of Oilfield insulation and tin fabrication experience
- Knowledge of Oilfield carpentry experience
- Must pass a drug screen, MVR check, and background check pursuant to local, state, and federal rules.
Preferred:
- A clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- 2 years oilfield insulation and tin fabrication experience
- 2 years oilfield carpentry experience
- 2 years’ experience insulating and fabricating tin for tanks and vessels
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job (but are not limited to). The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time, unassisted. The incumbent must wear a respirator when required. Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate industrial machinery is required. This job also requires full range of body motion to include handling and lifting. The incumbent must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 65 (SIXTY-FIVE) pounds unassisted. Visual acuity, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Work is usually done outdoors and sometimes at a client facility or job site and is frequently performed in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions. The incumbent is exposed to electricity, moving mechanical parts, vehicles, equipment, and hazardous materials. This position regularly requires long work hours and frequent weekend work.
