What You'll Do
As an EMT-B Medical Support Specialist, you'll help ensure donor safety while providing exceptional patient care in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform donor health screenings and eligibility evaluations
- Monitor vital signs and overall donor well-being
- Provide care and support for donor reactions according to established procedures
- Review health histories and medical information
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and healthcare professionals
- Deliver outstanding customer and patient service
QualificationsRequired
- Active EMT-Basic (EMT-B) certification
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Ability to work in a healthcare or clinical environment
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately
Preferred
- Experience in EMS, emergency medicine, patient care, healthcare, ambulance services, urgent care, or clinical settings
