FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide overnight, non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults in the Waycross area. If you enjoy helping others maintain their independence while providing peace of mind to families, we'd love to meet you.

For more than 13 years, FirstLight Home Care has proudly served Southeast Georgia with a caregivers-first culture built on compassion, respect, and excellence.

Overnight Caregiver Responsibilities

Provide companionship and supervision throughout the night
Assist with toileting, transfers, and personal hygiene
Help with repositioning and mobility as needed
Prepare light snacks or meals if required
Perform light housekeeping duties
Observe and report changes in the client's condition
Medication reminders (non-medical)
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Document care provided according to company policy

Qualifications

PCA, CNA, HHA, or comparable caregiving experience preferred
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Reliable transportation
Ability to work overnight shifts
Current TB Test (PPD)
In-person CPR & First Aid Certification (online-only certifications are not accepted)
Ability to pass a Level II Fingerprint Background Check and Drug Screen
