Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Front Desk Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for an exceptional patient experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in, and ensuring smooth office operations. Your expertise in medical administrative support, combined with your excellent customer service skills, will help foster a positive environment that promotes patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated dental care team committed to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Curve Dental.
Verify patient insurance coverage and explain billing procedures clearly, utilizing health insurance knowledge and medical billing experience.
Collect and review patient information, update medical records accurately while maintaining strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies.
Manage phone communication with professionalism, providing appointment reminders and answering patient inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation review and proper care plan management.
Maintain organized filing of medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards.
Assist with clinic administrative tasks such as data entry, typing, and filing, to support daily operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in a medical or dental front desk role with strong clinic experience preferred.
Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.
Strong computer skills recommended
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and clinical confidentiality policies.
Organizational skills for managing appointments, medical records, billing documentation review, and office filing systems.
Prior clinic or medical office experience is preferred; familiarity with dental clinic operations is a bonus.
