Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machinery, including CNC equipment, laser, press brake, and other fabrication tools. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and quality control processes to ensure efficient production and adherence to safety standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

Operate and monitor a variety of manufacturing machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC press brakes or Laser.
Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings for accurate fabrication and assembly.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on equipment.
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and warehouse operations as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Utilize hand tools and tooling for fabrication, assembly, or adjustments as required.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control instruments.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including fabrication, machining, welding, and materials handling.
Ability to work in a factory or manufacturing facility environment with factory experience preferred.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, assembly line operations, warehouse tasks, or packaging is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills with an emphasis on safety standards and quality assurance. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing setting where technical skills are valued and professional growth is encouraged.
Able to stand all day and able to lift 20 pounds.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
