About the Position
Accelerate Wellness—Longevity & Precision Medicine is opening a new clinic in Wayzata, Minnesota. We are seeking an exceptional Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist & Patient Concierge who can combine skilled clinical support and phlebotomy with outstanding, concierge-level customer service.
This is not a traditional medical assistant, phlebotomist, or receptionist position. You will be an essential member of a small, close-knit team building a new clinic and business from the ground up.
The right candidate will be extremely hardworking, highly motivated, proactive, exceptionally detail-oriented, and an excellent problem-solver. This person will take ownership of responsibilities, anticipate what needs to be done, and step in wherever needed to support patients, providers, and the clinic.

The position may be structured as part-time or full-time depending on the candidate’s experience, availability, and ability to perform clinical, phlebotomy, and administrative responsibilities.

What You Will DoPhlebotomy and Laboratory Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and blood collection safely, efficiently, and professionally
- Help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout the blood-draw process
- Verify laboratory orders and ensure the correct specimens are collected
- Accurately label, process, centrifuge, package, and prepare specimens for shipment
- Coordinate specialized and advanced laboratory testing with external laboratory partners
- Maintain accurate specimen records, laboratory documentation, and chain-of-custody procedures when required
- Track outstanding laboratory orders and help ensure results are received and routed appropriately
- Maintain phlebotomy equipment, laboratory supplies, and a clean, organized collection area
- Follow all infection-control, specimen-handling, privacy, and safety requirements
- Identify and proactively resolve specimen, laboratory-order, or shipping issues
Medical Assistant and Clinical Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for appointments
- Obtain vital signs, body-composition measurements, and other clinical information
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms and maintain appropriate clinical supplies
- Assist providers with procedures, injections, IV therapy, or other clinical services as trained and legally permitted
- Support patient education, follow-up tasks, and coordination of treatment plans under provider direction
- Monitor clinical supply levels and reorder items before shortages occur
- Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient clinical environment
Patient Concierge and Front-Office Responsibilities
- Welcome every patient warmly and create an exceptional experience from arrival through departure
- Answer telephone calls and communicate professionally with patients by phone, email, and text
- Schedule appointments and help coordinate each patient’s care journey
- Manage intake forms, consent documents, medical records, and other administrative details
- Collect and process payments accurately
- Coordinate patient needs with providers and other members of the clinical team
- Maintain an organized, polished, calming, and professional clinic environment
- Anticipate patient and team needs and take initiative to address them
- Assist with general office operations and take on additional responsibilities as the clinic grows

Qualifications
- Phlebotomy training, certification, or demonstrated venipuncture experience strongly preferred
- Medical assistant training or relevant clinical experience preferred
- Ability to perform blood draws confidently, accurately, and compassionately
- Previous experience in a medical clinic, specialty practice, wellness clinic, laboratory, or customer-service role preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with electronic medical records, scheduling platforms, email, and standard office technology
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Interest in longevity, preventive, functional, regenerative, or precision medicine is a plus
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute consistently to our Wayzata clinic
Candidates with strong phlebotomy or clinical skills may be trained in the concierge and administrative aspects of the position. We may also consider candidates with exceptional healthcare customer-service experience who are qualified and willing to develop additional clinical skills.
