Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Auto Damage Appraiser to join our team as an independent contractor in Massachusetts. This position offers flexibility and competitive pay, with compensation ranging from $50 to $75 per file based on experience. Additionally, there is potential for this role to transition into a full-time, salaried position in the future based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess and document damage.
Prepare accurate and detailed appraisal reports.
Utilize estimating software to calculate repair costs.
Communicate findings effectively with insurance adjusters, repair shops, and vehicle owners.
Maintain accurate records and manage multiple files efficiently.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Auto Damage Appraiser License in the state of Massachusetts.
Experience in auto damage appraisal is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with basic computer skills and estimating software.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Heavy Equipment experience is a plus.
