Advise clients on corporate transactions while building your practice through hands-on work and direct client responsibility.

Description

Salary dependent upon experience.

All applicants must be admitted to practice law in the state of New York. Occasionally, we may consider candidates who have taken the New York State Bar Exam and are awaiting results.

Expected duties include:

Researching and providing legal advice to clients
Learning the basic legal knowledge required of all corporate transactional lawyers
Building focused legal skills and industry-specific knowledge over time

Expected skills include:

Excellent analytical and writing skills
Ability to anticipate and understand the challenges that clients face
Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Willingness to take on direct client responsibilities and learn about clients, both their businesses and as individuals
Willingness to market both the firm and your own brand through written publications, speeches, seminars, & professional networking
