Full Job Description

Shadow Lake Golf and Racquet Club is seeking motivated individuals to join our kitchen team as Dish washers / Food Runners. This unique position is a hybrid position that involves both food running and expediting a la carte service as well as working the dish station and general sanitation. This position pays $16 / hr plus tips. This position requires employees to be able to lift and carry 40 pounds. We have both full time and part time positions available for immediate hire. Must have positive attitude, strong attendence record, reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. Position’s Principal Accountabilities:

1. Maintain kitchen sanitation to local and state codes in all food prep / storage areas as well as the dishwashing station.

2. Responsible for washing / sanitizing all china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen utensils and putting them away in an organized manner.

3. Responsible for taking out refuse / recycling, sweeping, mopping entire kitchen at end of shift.

4. Being sure all dirty dishes , glasses, pots and pans are clean and put away at end of shift.

5. Operate and maintain dish machine according to manufacturers specs. Report any issues to Exec / Sous Chefs.

6. Assist cooks in any prep- work needed.

7. Must assist in putting away deliveries in an organized manner.

8. Maintain cleanliness of loading dock ,recycling and refuse dumpster areas at all times.

9. Must be presentable to the public at all times following company policy.

10. Actively participate in line expo and running food to servers during service.

11. Must stock sauce sides based on Chefs standard pars.

12. Responsible for wiping down front of line at end of shift when running food.

13. Any other cleaning duties as outlined by Chefs or manager.

Expected schedule:

AM: based on business volume. All holidays

PM: based on business volume. All holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.99 - $15.00 per hour
