Full Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by demonstrating advanced skills in assessment, treatment planning, group therapy, individual counseling, case management, and discharge planning. This role requires knowledge of community-based resources and the ability to coordinate care effectively. The Program Therapist works collaboratively with the Physician, Program Director, and other professional staff to provide comprehensive assessment services, documentation, treatment planning, case management, and other therapeutic services as directed. PRN and full-time positions available.

Example of Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs effective therapy in accordance with policies and procedures and accepted standards of practice.
Completes all notes and documentation in a timely, ethical, and high-quality manner
Conducts evaluations, and has good interviewing, assessment, written and diagnostic skills.
Functions as a contributing member of the treatment team.
The Program Therapist is responsible for following all state, federal, individual licensure, Fiscal Intermediary, JCAHO, and InnerWisdom, Inc. policies and procedures as stated and required.
Maintains high professional and ethical standards, supporting the mission and policies of InnerWisdom, Inc. at all times.
Adheres to all safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid & current Texas LPC-A, LMSW, or higher license
Experience working in behavioral healthcare preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and time management skills
