Title: Full Stack Engineer

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $75.00 -$95.00 / Per Hour

About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and enhance business-critical applications that support field operations. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world business challenges, partnering directly with stakeholders, and owning solutions from idea through production.

This is more than a traditional development position. We're looking for someone who can think strategically, navigate ambiguity, evaluate new technologies, and take initiative without waiting for detailed direction.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance web-based applications used by operational teams.
Create responsive user interfaces using modern Angular frameworks.
Design and implement backend services, APIs, and integrations in C#/.NET.
Collaborate with end users, business partners, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical direction.
Research and assess new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development efficiency and application performance.
Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
Operate effectively within an Agile environment while managing priorities independently.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience developing full stack applications using Angular and C#/.NET.
Hands-on experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
Experience working within cloud-based environments such as Azure or AWS.
Solid understanding of application design patterns, data architecture, and database interactions.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues and identify root causes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Mobile application development experience.
Experience supporting operational, field-service, or workforce mobility applications.
Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Exposure to AI, Generative AI, or AI-assisted development tools.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
