Full Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a vibrant school setting. You’ll collaborate with experienced speech-language pathologists and a caring educational team to help K-12 learners develop essential speech and language skills, fostering their academic and social success. This role is ideal for a passionate SLPA eager to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment.

This position is set to begin as soon as possible and continues through May 25, 2027, providing steady, full-time hours (35 per week). While caseload specifics will be tailored following your interview, you can expect to serve a diverse population across elementary to high school ages, giving you valuable hands-on experience and professional growth.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active SLPA licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the state required
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to engage positively with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect speech/language services to students under SLP supervision
Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collect and document data on student progress
Support the development and delivery of therapy materials and activities
Participate in team meetings and communicate student needs effectively
