Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this vital role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food preparation, and smooth team management. Your leadership will help create a lively, welcoming environment where both guests and staff thrive. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts, providing clear direction and support to ensure smooth operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and safety compliance
Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
Control inventory levels through regular stock checks and effective inventory management practices
Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Train new team members on food production, customer service techniques, POS operation, and restaurant policies
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences
Assist with shift scheduling, labor cost control, and profit & loss analysis to optimize restaurant performance

Skills

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
Strong understanding of food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and financial reporting
Effective communication skills for training staff, managing team dynamics, and engaging with guests
