Full Job Description

Bookkeeper

We are seeking a dependable, self-driven Bookkeeper to support the financial and administrative needs of the business.

The right candidate will be organized, accurate, comfortable working independently, and able to follow through on goals established by ownership. Previous experience is helpful, but we also welcome candidates with strong attention to detail, good judgment, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Enter and categorize transactions
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with payroll and review employee timecards for accuracy
Identify and follow up on payroll or bookkeeping discrepancies
Maintain vendor, invoice, and payment records
Prepare routine reports for ownership
Assist with basic hotel office duties during slower periods
Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Dependable and organized
Able to work independently
Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, and learning accounting software
Strong follow-through and communication skills

Bookkeeping, payroll, QuickBooks, or office experience is a plus but not required.

High school diploma or GED candidates are welcome. We are primarily interested in your ability, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
