Full Job Description

<Overview>
Seeking an local counsel to associate in a remote capacity. Hourly work available on a variety of projects. I mainly need local counsel for an on-going docket of premises liability cases. This will be on a contingency basis. All intake, litigation, and expert costs are covered.

Must have trial experience and be comfortable in the courtroom.

<Responsibilities>

Provide expert legal advice across multiple practice areas including business litigation, business counseling, employment discrimination, and toxic mold litigation.
Sign onto demand and spoliation notices as needed.
Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, contracts, and agreements with precision and clarity.
Manage litigation processes from inception through resolution, including case strategy development, discovery, and courtroom proceedings when necessary.
Support the firm’s legal administrative functions by maintaining meticulous records and documentation of case files and research findings.

<Requirements>

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar membership in Washington State Bar.
Five years litigation experience. Trial experience preferred.
Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw for effective case analysis.
Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
Demonstrated negotiation skills capable of managing complex agreements and dispute resolutions.
Prior legal administrative experience managing case files, documentation, and client correspondence efficiently.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity standards.
