Overview

We are a locally operated non-profit organization offering highly personalized approach to care and a great team!

Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA), where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. In this vital role, you will provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in our community. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help promote comfort, safety, and independence for our residents while supporting their physical and emotional well-being. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your caregiving career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties

Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate medical documentation
Assist with medications for residents (nurse delegation training provided)
Support patients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care, ensuring a safe environment
Assist with resident transfers
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Maintain resident confidentiality
Maintain a food handlers card and CPR/1st Aid (training provided)

Experience

Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in geriatrics is highly valued but not required
Demonstrated assisted living or long-term care experience in nursing homes, assisted living, adult family homes, or home healthcare settings preferred
Experience working with residents who have dementia or require hospice or end-of-life care is advantageous
Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are essential
