Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator/Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent patient service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental insurance processes. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, accurate insurance verification, and exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits and contact patients for updated information as needed prior to procedures.
Assist patients with insurance questions and billing inquiries.
Collect payments and manage account entries with accuracy.
Schedule appointments efficiently using a multi-line phone system with professional phone etiquette.
Coordinate and discuss treatment with patients when needed.
Maintain accurate dental records and manage electronic health records (EHR) using Eaglesoft dental software for seamless documentation review and data entry.
Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate care plans and ensure proper documentation aligned with health information management standards.

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in a dental office or clinical setting with strong familiarity with dental terminology and dental insurance.
Experience with dental CDT coding is highly desirable.
Strong clerical skills combined with excellent customer service experience in a healthcare environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
