Consistent hours, convenient location (no in-home), curriculum and lesson plans provided. KnowledgePoints has developed an excellent reputation and has become a trusted name for many families in Pasco and northern Hillsborough Counties. Come work in a fun environment with a team of great people!

KnowledgePoints is hiring a part-time instructor at our Land O' Lakes (and Trinity) location, and we are in need of a “specialist” with experience teaching high school math content (up to Algebra 2 is a must). The qualified candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, and ideally have experience teaching these subjects in a classroom setting.

We are a little different! We are a professional tutoring center that employs tutors (W-2) year-round. All tutoring takes place in our center. Most of our tutors are either current or retired teachers; some working as few as 5-6 hours per week, while we have others that work as many as 20+ hours per week. We take the time up front to understand how much our tutors want to work and when they are available, and then we schedule them within those parameters. We never schedule a tutor unless we can give them at least 2 consecutive hours.

All tutoring is individualized - we never exceed a 2:1 student ratio. We handle all parent communication, scheduling, student testing and session planning, allowing our tutors to spend ALL of their time doing what they enjoy most - teaching students!

To Qualify You Must Have:

Previous high school math teaching/tutoring experience
A passion for working with students
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
