Full Job Description

Multimodality MRI/CT Technologist – Full Time/Part Time

ICare360 Diagnostic Imaging – Zephyrhills, FL

ICare360 Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced, dependable MRI/CT Technologist to join our outpatient diagnostic imaging center. We are looking for someone who takes pride in patient care, image quality, safety, and maintaining an organized imaging department.

This is a full-time position with primary responsibility for MRI and CT. The technologist may also assist with DEXA and general X-ray as needed, based on qualifications, training, and patient volume.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI and CT examinations according to established protocols.
Perform appropriate patient screening and preparation before examinations.
Position patients and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Perform IV starts and administer contrast in accordance with physician orders, facility policy, and applicable scope requirements.
Maintain MRI safety and CT/radiation safety standards.
Complete required daily, weekly, and other modality-specific quality control.
Maintain accurate QC and equipment documentation.
Identify equipment or image-quality concerns and report them promptly.
Coordinate with radiologists and referring offices when needed.
Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.
Assist with DEXA and general X-ray examinations when qualified and needed.
Help maintain an efficient, professional, patient-focused imaging environment.

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification and registration.
MRI and CT credentials strongly preferred: R.T.(R)(CT)(MR)(ARRT) or equivalent applicable credentials.
Current Florida licensure/certification as required for the modalities performed.
Outpatient imaging experience preferred.
Experience with IV placement and contrast-enhanced CT/MRI examinations preferred.
Strong understanding of MRI safety, radiation safety, and quality control.
Multimodality experience is highly desirable.

Lead Technologist Opportunity

Qualified candidates may also be considered for a Lead Multimodality Technologist position.

The Lead role would include hands-on imaging as well as additional responsibility for technologist workflow, modality QC, preventive-maintenance coordination, equipment/service documentation, accreditation readiness, compliance documentation, supply management, and helping maintain day-to-day imaging operations.
