If you’re a licensed attorney, in the Texas or Oklahoma, who has handled at least100 Social Security Disability hearings, we want you on our team. You already know the challenges of the system — now bring that experience to a firm that values your skill, backs you with real support, and gives you room to grow.

Job Description

This attorney position will represent claimants in both Social Security Disability and ERISA Disability Insurance cases. You will play a critical role in representing claimants through all stages of both disability benefits processes. This position is ideal for an attorney with a passion for client advocacy, strong hearing and writing skills, and a commitment to serving individuals facing life-altering disabilities.
We are a team of highly trained and dedicated professionals working to get those with disabilities and their survivors the disability compensation to which they are entitled. This is a full-time position performed remotely from Texas or Oklahoma.

Responsibilities:

Personally represent and manage caseload of Social Security Insurance (SSDI) claims, including initial filings, appeals, and hearings
Personally manage a caseload of ERISA Disability Insurance cases, including pre-suit claims, appeals, and federal court filings.
Maintain excellent relationships with clients, including delivering empathetic legal services that are personalized to each client's situation
Respond to written and telephone inquiries from clients
Evaluate medical records, work history, and vocational evidence to understand necessary proof to be developed and present strong argument.
Maintain effective communication and personal relationships with clients through mail, telephone, and email
Supervise and train legal support team, as needed
Maintain proficiency and currency in applicable law to ensure the highest quality representation
Collaborate with medical professionals and expert witnesses to strengthen case arguments

Qualifications:

Law Degree and Bar Admission in at least one State (Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, or Iowa)
Sufficient experience in Social Security Disability practice to have handled at least 100 hearings
Strong legal writing skills for drafting appeals, briefs, and other case-related documents.
Empathy for those with disabilities and a commitment to fighting for their benefits

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Work Location: Remote (firm is based in Saint Petersburg, FL). Must be able to travel to headquarters as needed.

Remote Work Expectations: While this role offers the flexibility of working remotely, it is not a flexible schedule. Employees are expected to maintain the set working hours and dedicate their full attention to the role during this time. Remote work requires a professional, distraction-free environment to ensure productivity and accuracy. Employees must have reliable access to their own internet connection (30 Mbps upload speeds, minimum) and internet router to work remotely.
