Work Pattern: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm.

Expectations of the role include;

Be the first point of contact for our customers operational needs & provide clear, supportive guidance on all aspect of freight moves.

Be familiar with expectations of working within a time critical industry that works across all modes of transport and freight co-ordination.
- Work within a team of 5 all based on the West Coast

Secure bookings with airlines, hauliers, and other carriers.

Prepare essential shipment documentation including AWBs, BOLs, Carnets, COOs, etc.

Enter and manage shipments in our Cargowise system following company protocols, full training to be provided.

Handle all aspects of customs clearance, whether in-house or via brokers.

Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates to clients and account managers.

Accurately maintain job costs and records in Cargowise.

Coordinate freight builds, import/export handling, and warehouse requirements with internal teams.

Liaise with overseas agents and EFM offices for international movements.

Assist in planning and executing the logistical aspects of tours and events.

Create small transport and logistics budgets.

Negotiate rates with service providers and assist in quoting customers.

Provide high-level support throughout each assigned project from start to finish.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ideally 3-years of experience in a similar role within logistics, freight forwarding.

Knowledge of project management procedures.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Organized and strong attention to detail.

Logical thinking, self-management skills, and ability to prioritize workload.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.

Familiarity with Cargowise a plus but not essential, as full training will be provided.
