Full Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant Hilton Garden Inn located near the airport. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel management, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and team success. Your leadership will drive revenue growth, uphold high standards of hospitality, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

Duties

Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of service
Lead, supervise, and motivate hospitality teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining a positive work environment
Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs
Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and guest management
Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, safety regulations, and company policies across all departments
Develop and implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, phone etiquette (including multi-line phone systems), and operational procedures
Foster strong guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring memorable stays that encourage repeat business
Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives
Oversee night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation at the end of each day
Lead initiatives in revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and profitability in a competitive market

Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities
Strong background in overseeing daily hotel operations with a focus on customer service excellence
Demonstrated ability in managing budgets, financial operations, and revenue strategies within a hospitality environment
Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and other property management tools
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and team communication
Experience in handling human resources functions such as staffing, training, and performance management
Knowledge of hotel guest service standards, front desk operations, night audit procedures, and resort or hotel experience preferred
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of guest relations
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while fostering a positive work culture
