Objective
The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee learning, training, and development programs that enhance individual performance, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness. This role partners with business leaders to identify skill gaps, develop learning strategies, support career development initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and facilitate instructor-led training programs, workshops, and leadership development sessions.
- Coordinate external training providers, vendors, and learning resources.
- Manage compliance and required training programs.
- Partner with Human Resources Manager to support the onboarding experience by developing and delivering job-specific training programs focused on company systems, software, processes, and operational competencies.
- Develop leadership training and management development programs.
- Collaborate with Human Resources Manager to support succession planning efforts and employee career pathing through targeted learning and development programs.
- Partner with leaders to identify high-potential employees and create development plans.
- Coach managers on employee development and performance improvement strategies.
- Track training participation, completion, certifications, and learning outcomes.
- Maintain training records and reporting metrics.
- Evaluate emerging learning technologies and best practices.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness.
- Analyze learning program results and employee feedback.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership.
- Continuously refine programs based on business needs and organizational goals.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to support organizational development initiatives.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and talent management initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technologies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and measure program effectiveness.
- Knowledge of leadership development, coaching, and talent management practices.
Work Environment Considerations
- Must be able to work in high-pressure situations facing strict deadlines. Extended shifts may be necessary, and hours will often exceed 40 per week to perform duties effectively

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, training, organizational development, or talent management.
- Experience designing and facilitating adult learning programs.
- Experience managing learning systems and training programs.
