Company Overview

The Arc of Union County Inc. is a leading provider of Person Centered services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Adult Day Services programming. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Day Health Services and operating under the supervision of Adult Health Registered Nurse, Supervisor, Day Health Services (LPN) is responsible to assure the delivery of quality person centered services to all assigned service recipients in accordance with the Agency’s goals of “Person Centered Planning” and within the guidelines of all Agency and DDD policies and procedures. The incumbent will maintain ongoing monitoring and documentation of residents’ health needs, identify emerging health needs and provide appropriate guidance and intervention as directed. The incumbent is a member of an interdisciplinary team monitoring individual support needs and making recommendations relative to the identified needs.

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Supervisor, Day Health Services (LPN) to lead and coordinate nursing care within our day health programs. In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care tailored to individuals with diverse needs. Your leadership will foster a positive environment that promotes safety, compliance, and holistic well-being for our clients.

Qualifications:

Current NJ Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure required.
One year supervisor level experience that includes three years combined Direct Support Professional and Assistant Supervisor role experience working with people with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities at front line management; and knowledge in the design and supervision of a program serving individuals with I/DD, and development of staff.
Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Social Services or supporting industry field of study preferred.
Demonstration of a thorough understanding of knowledge, abilities and skills outlined above.
Flexibility and demonstrated ability to thrive and perform in an ever-changing, busy and fast paced environment. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a valid New Jersey driver’s license and abstract (not to exceed 5 points), and ability to meet agency insurability requirements. Complete State/Federal Criminal Background checks and Central Registry checks.
