Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to support our Dutchess dispensaries. This is a true generalist opportunity and a role where you will have significant impact on the associate journey and the growth of Dutchess Cannabis. This is a Hybrid position. Store visitation will be required.

JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Human Resources Administrator is to provide support in the management of the day-to-day people operations through out the company. This role will support the HR Director in the administration of HR policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. The HR Administrator will provide an approachable, proactive, and efficient support for the department and ensure effective communication amongst the stores.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

Assist with the development of effective solutions and strategies to support key objectives
Counsel assigned customer organizations on interpretation and application of relevant policies and regulations for situation-specific issues
Maintain accurate personnel file management using the HRIS system
Support basic HR process improvements and HR projects, with effective change management principles.
Provide thoughtful and tactful communications with the utmost of diplomacy at all times, treating others with dignity and respect, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
Support the full cycle recruiting process including but not limited to creation of job posts, onboarding employees, and employee orientation. recognition programs
Assist with employee questions or concerns regarding workplace policies and procedures
Assist with employee relations, including investigations and disciplinary process
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and update HR policies accordingly
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and stressful situations
Proactive and effective communication with team members at all levels within the organization
Some travel may be required within designated market(s)
Other duties and or projects as assigned

5+ years HR generalist experience; union experience a plus
Bachelors in Business, Human Resources or other related fields preferred
Certifications from human resources professional organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management, HR Certification Institute, or WorldatWork a plus
Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships at all levels including senior executives
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus; ability to build relationships, influence and collaborate at all levels
High level of professionalism, personal integrity and dependability
Adept at working in a cross-functional environment in a highly collaborative manner
Extremely organized and able to conceptualize solutions when faced with complex challenges
Ability to travel to dispensary locations 2-3 times per week
The ideal candidate will live within traveling distance to stores in our Ohio Market. *Stores are in located in Cincinnati, Solon, Wapakoneta, & Hillsboro Ohio
