Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team and play a vital role in managing the financial operations of our property portfolio.

Conshohocken (Hybrid schedule)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and supporting workpapers for assigned properties.
Prepare and maintain annual property budgets and assist with ongoing budget updates as needed.
Perform monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis, identifying significant variances and providing explanations to management.
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial information is accurate and complete.
Assist with year-end activities and work with external accountants on financial statement preparation and tax returns.
Review financial activity and account balances to identify discrepancies and ensure proper accounting treatment.
Maintain organized supporting documentation for financial statements, reconciliations, budgets, and other accounting activities.
Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by management.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve accounting issues and ensure reporting deadlines are met.

Key Performance Expectations

Timely Reporting: Complete monthly financial reporting accurately and consistently within established deadlines.
Accuracy: Maintain a high level of accuracy across financial statements, reconciliations, budgets, and supporting documentation.
Budget Management: Develop accurate property budgets and provide timely, meaningful variance analysis.
Account Reconciliation: Ensure assigned general ledger accounts are properly reconciled and discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
Financial Support: Provide reliable financial information and analysis to support management decision-making.

Pay: $73,648.27 - $88,694.68 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Conshohocken, PA 19428
