Ultrasound Certification

Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
ARDMS or equivalent national certification in General Ultrasound
Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging modalities
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer
Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt in fast-paced or changing healthcare settings
Current BLS certification

Schedule:

Contract assignment with variable/flexible shifts

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams on patients of all ages, following established protocols
Accurately identify, label, and document anatomical structures and pathology for radiologist interpretation
Ensure excellent patient preparation, comfort, and safety throughout the imaging process
Maintain and operate sonography equipment, ensuring cleanliness and calibration standards
Collaborate with radiologists and medical team members to ensure timely diagnostic results
Properly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies
Participate in ongoing education and stay current with advances in imaging technology and best practices

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
