Full Job Description

CardioKinetics Inc.is a licensed medical provider founded in 1979 to provide quality health care and Preventive Medicine services. Our mission is to “Produce Healthier People-One at a Time.” We offer Corporate Health and Wellness Programs and Solutions regionally as well as nationally. Some of these solutions include, but are not limited to Cardiac Rehabilitation, Employee and Public Safety Medical Physicals, Health and Fitness Assessments, Biometric Screenings, and Corporate Fitness Management.

Full Time/Part Time Exercise Physiologist to assist with our Employee Wellness Programs and Health Screening and Physical Fitness Testing Services. Individuals should possess the following qualities: leadership, initiative, hard work ethic, flexible, ability to travel, dependable, and a genuine passion for wanting to help others lead a healthier life.

We are looking for motivated individuals to assist with our Preventive Health Screening Programs. Depending upon their skill-set and abilities, individual may be responsible for the following: biometric screenings, Sub Maximal and Maximal graded exercise testing, exercise prescription, health screenings, fitness testing, body composition, fitness center management and even basic small group exercise instruction.

This individual should be proficient in resting and exercise blood pressures, understanding of blood lipids and glucose values, basic ECG interpretation, risk factor knowledge and exercise prescription and possess the ability to work with all populations.

If qualified, there will be opportunities to work specifically with our Testing Team and Cardiac Rehab Team performing services like: Biometric Screenings and Employee Health and Fitness Assessments as needed.

Requirements, Education and Experience:

Individual must have a degree or certification or pursuing a degree or certification in health/fitness related field
CPR Certification
Working knowledge of exercise equipment, fitness assessment and exercise prescription
Understanding of Exercise Physiology (including blood pressure, basic ECG interpretation, lipid and Glucose values, risk factors for Disease, etc)
Experience performing health screening services is preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Understanding of Microsoft Office & Google Suite
Individual will go through the CardioKinetics pre-employment training program

Although this position begins on an “as needed” basis, there are many opportunities for growth

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour
