Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time Office/Home Care Scheduler! In this vital role, you will coordinate client appointments, manage care schedules, and ensure seamless communication between patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Your energetic and organized approach will help deliver exceptional client and family service and support the efficient operation of our home care services. This position offers flexible hours, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in client care.

Duties

Coordinate care plans by aligning client needs with caregiver availaibility and skill set.
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and assist with billing processes.
Perform assessments and followups for new potential clients
Qualifications
Proven experience in medical office management or administrative support within a healthcare setting; clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks; knowledge of Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus.
Strong understanding of health insurance processes including verification, Medicare/Medicaid procedures, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and documentation review.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills including 10-key typing.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual abilities are advantageous.
Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical confidentiality policies, and health information management standards.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior office or clerical experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and dental office systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a bonus.Embark on a rewarding journey where your organizational talent directly impacts patient well-being!
