Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our team who will oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning to implementation. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with project stakeholders, and assisting with project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and preparing cost estimates for construction projects. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Be initial contact point for clients and prospective clients contacting CTS
Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements
Work with CTS team and client on job needs, delivery of job estimates, plans, change orders, and other items to help ensure accuracy and success
Follow up with clients on status of quote and track status of awarded, open and lost jobs
Prepare and submit project status reports to management and other stakeholders
Help identify and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related materials
Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure project success
Timely follow up on emails and phone calls with clients and prospective clients

Candidate Requirements and Traits

Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
Experience with project coordination and management
Knowledge of contract documents and specifications
Need to be detailed oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding communication (oral and written) and documentation abilities
Construction and/or cabinet background preferred, but not required, if have other relevant project coordinator type experience
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong Computer skills, any experience with Tractivity or Cabinet Vison software a plus
Must be able to work in an office setting with three other people. Privacy will be limited
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
