Are you someone people can count on to stay calm, solve problems, and make others feel welcome?
Staybridge Suites West Des Moines is looking for a dependable and professional Front Desk Agent to manage our weekend morning guest experience. This is an important guest-facing position for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, communicates confidently, and can be trusted to handle responsibilities independently after training.
Hotel experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings strong customer-service skills, reliability, good judgment, and a positive attitude.
The following shifts are required:

Saturday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Sunday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
One additional weekday shift from 3:00 PM–11:00 PM may become available. The weekend shifts are the core schedule, and any additional shift would be discussed before being added.
Applicants must be able to consistently work both Saturday and Sunday shifts and arrive ready to begin work by 7:00 AM.

Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service

Complete guest check-ins and checkouts accurately

Answer phones and assist with questions, requests, and hotel information

Create, modify, and review reservations

Process payments and help maintain accurate guest billing

Respond to guest concerns calmly and work toward an appropriate solution

Communicate important information to housekeeping, maintenance, management, and the next front desk shift

Complete assigned shift responsibilities and hotel checklists

Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and welcoming

Work independently while recognizing when management assistance is needed

Available every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Previous hotel, front desk, retail, restaurant, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.

This position requires standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift; regularly using a computer and telephone; completing light front desk and lobby tasks; and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Essential job duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
