Full Job Description

Accounting Manager | $80,000-$90,000

A Fargo company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a well-established organization offering excellent benefits, flexibility, and significant long-term growth potential. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into a leadership role now with the ability to continue advancing into higher-level financial leadership positions over time.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records
Manage accounting across multiple entities
Perform and review general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain a strong understanding of debits, credits, and how transactions flow through the general ledger
Assist with financial reporting and other accounting functions
Provide support with payroll processing as needed
Help maintain strong accounting processes and internal controls

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
10+ years of accounting experience required
Strong working knowledge of debits, credits, general ledger accounting, and financial statements
Experience working with multiple entities strongly preferred
Payroll processing experience is helpful, but not required
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Interest in taking on additional responsibility and growing into a higher-level accounting leadership role

Compensation & Benefits

$80,000-$90,000 salary
