Job Position: Assistant Manager
Location: Chatsworth, CA. 91311
Pay Rate: $31.00-$34.00

For more than 20 years, we have worked alongside many real estate organizations nationwide to place leaders from Management through C‑Suite Executive roles, with a focus on alignment, continuity, and lasting impact.

Our client has been operating and developing manufactured home communities for over 40 years. There is an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Manager at our community in Chatsworth, CA. The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Community Manager. Future promotion to the Community Manager position is possible for the right person.

Description/Responsibilities

A typical day will include any or all, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Assist Community Manager with day-to-day operation of the community.
Compile and process resident information to prepare monthly rent invoices.
Collect and input monthly rent checks.
Conduct space inspections and enforce park rules and regulations.
Respond to incoming phone calls, email and mail requests from residents, other members of the company or vendors.
Supervise others, take direction from others.
Operate office machines such as personal computers, scanners and printers.
Review, index, process, file and maintain records.
Process, monitor and track general park and office operations.
Coordinate and monitor schedules and projects for other members of the company or vendors.
Assist residents and vendors with various concerns and questions.

Skills/Requirements/Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
A minimum of a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent written, verbal, organizational and computer skills.
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Must be friendly, professional, and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, co-workers and vendors.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and theory.
Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, adaptability.
Must know or be willing to learn about the laws and regulations that govern manufactured home communities.
Experience with Rent Manager a plus.
Must reside outside of the community.
If hired, must be able to provide verification of your legal right to work in the United States.
